Around Glen Canyon
The two hour drive from Kanab to Glen Canyon along Highway 89 is spectacular, passing along the Vermillion Cliffs National Monument and the Grand Staircase Escalante National Monument. There's lots to see around Glen Canyon, including the Glen Canyon dam, Antelope Canyon, and Horseshoe Bend.
Antelope Canyon
Our tour group enters the canyon on this steep path deep into semidarkness.
Once inside, it's simply amazing.
Several hundred feet deep, carved by a stream through sandstone over millions of years.
Simply spectacular.
Horseshoe Bend
It's a long walk from the parking lot to the viewpoint overlooking the Horseshoe Bend. But worth it. Check out the photos below.
Hard to describe this. Scary but beautiful.
Glen Canyon Dam
Glenn kept saying he wanted to visit the dam that was named after him. So, we did visit. Here the bridge, an engineering marvel itself. That's Glenn out on the bridge.

More Vermillion Cliffs views on the drive back to Kanab. Tomorrow's weather report is for rain turning to snow. We plan to stay around the Kanab area.
